The latest page of the Homeroom has been a little more challenging than I thought, and rather than rush it, I've decided to keep working on it till next week. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Requests
Okay, in a fit of pique I downloaded the DA app and suddenly found I had like twenty requests that I’ve never seen before while browsing the site. A lot of them seem like junk or probably expired offers, but Mfer, why the hell haven’t I seen these before? WTF? Are they just not accessible on the website or are they hidden? Okay, if anyone actually wants to commission me for art, send a note. That’s what I look for. I will try to look at this request thing more often, but I am used to getting notes. Anyway, I am free for commissions again. And if I **owe** you a commission, drop me a line and we’ll get that squared away. I’m in the zone right now!
Colony High
I don’t need to tell anyone that my comic is on hiatus, considering how long it’s been since the last page. And I’m pretty sure anyone who’s actually reading it isn’t holding out. And to be honest, what I have right now is not what I consider the best I could do. From the beginning I‘ve been working on pure adrenaline and spite, drawing and putting pages out all in the same time frame. Not giving myself much time for editing, and backing myself into corners, something I never wanted to do. After so many years of procrastinating, I just wanted to get the comic out! As a result, my work has been rushed and subpar. I know the story in my head is better than this. The comic is NOT ending, but it’s clear I need to change how I’ve been doing it so far. In one year, I’m going to try again. I intend to remake Colony High, from the beginning. Better written, more painstakingly drawn, and not holding myself to a hectic weekly schedule and making mistakes. And even though it’s nearly the same
PRINTS!
Okay, I just made a TON of my old pieces available as prints, you should see them in your notifications. Among them are some of my top rated pieces, including my Beetlejuice pieces, my Green Lantern Mock Posters, my Anime Lanterns concepts, and a ton of Teen Titans fanart. If there's anything you want for the holidays, or even something you want to GIVE for the holidays, now's the time to pick it up!
KitBash3D Cities
I recently bought Clip Studio, and I'd like to know how long there's been a drawing program that integrated 3D figures and sets like this before I stumbled onto it? This is going to make setting scenes so much easier. Right now I'm looking into additional sets, and since I use Facebook pretty regularly these days, I've stumbled onto a site called KitBash3D. Sampled some of their wares, their collection of background models is extensive, gorgeous, and unfortunately very expensive. If I do get one, it's likely I'll *only* get one, so this first set may determine the atmosphere of Monolith City for the rest of the series. Here's the thing: I'm going to set up a poll of the KitBash3D's architectural styles that I like best, and let my readers vote. You get to pick the look of Monolith City. kitbash3d.com - The Site ***UPDATE: Just discovered a discount code for this site, substantially reducing the price, so I'm going to go ahead and spring for Art Deco AND, Brutalist, and maybe come
