It's a kind of slapstick comedy set in South Africa, told from to perspective of a Kalahari bushman (with a British narrator in the style of a Discovery Channel special), showing just how crazy "civilized" people really are. You have to see it to really get it.
The glass bottle in the bushman's hand is an empty Coke bottle, which caused a great deal of trouble for his people (an isolated tribe in the Kalahari desert), so they dubbed it "the Evil Thing," and our hero set off to throw the bottle off the ends of the earth.
