In celebration of the last Harry Potter book, and don't anyone spoil the ending for me!

I imagine that if Voldemort ever crossed paths with Sinestro, he'd see the alien dictator as a form of competition, not to be tolerated. Oh, the havoc that would ensue.

What would happen if Voldemort and a Black Lantern Ring mixed? He's already died, has a number of horcruxes keeping him alive past bodily death and has the dusty remains of his old body that was destroyed by Lily Evans. Would it resurrect his diary Tom Riddle?

I'll tell you what would happen: if Voldemort got mixed with a Black Lantern ring, someone would get sued. Probably DC.

The ring would probably be stuck trying to choose which body

No lord of darkness refuses power in any form.
P.S. is there anything the ring could do that his magic couldn't do

It still remains the fact that he'd be subservient to another being. Even Mongul couldn't stand up to Sinestro while wearing his own rings, Sinestro talked them right off his hands after impaling him on them.

that's true iv seen a lot of fan art about sinestro corp recruits like megatron, freesa, and such, but they wold never submit to others commands
by the way could you take a request if you have the time

Well, I generally don't take requests due to a pressing desire for money, but that's basically what I told the last guy who asked and I wasn't too happy with how THAT ended. He was annoyingly passive aggressive, but I still could have handled it better. Hypothetically, what would this request be?

Who gives an ass about Voldemort and Sinestro? What I'd like to see is a meeting between Karu-Sil and Bellatrix Lestrange. Now THAT will be ugly!

Sinestro would kick Moldy Voldy's ass. Just one of the Sinestro Corps could decimate the entire Death Eaters. The Yellow Power Rings are way stronger and more versatile than wizards' wands. Plus, there's like 7200 Sinestro Corps to what, a couple hundred Death Eaters? 1,000 max. It would be over like that.

I like how you have a series of Sinestro rejects, so many reasons some of them wouldn't belong for example; Voldemort would be a Black Lantern at this point but before Harry inadvertantly wasted him he would've been a great Yellow Lantern.

Oh wait, Voldemort probably still has his Horcruxes intact at this point! Yeah, dude's gonna be BEGGING to be killed when Sinestro comes knockin'.....

This is some fun stuff....But i'm pretty sure sinestro would win.....He has Prime on his side(well not anymore i guess) jejeje.

If by "havoc" you mean "Voldemort and his gang getting trapped in a yellow force cage and thrown into space."

Although I totally agree that this is how Voldemort would react to the ring, he is so utterly outclassed it is just not funny (Well... I guess it is, but it certainly wont be funny for them.)

I don't think they would even bother with a cage, they'd just break out the pointy things and disembowel the lot of them. But Voldemort and his deatheaters would take plenty of Sinestros with them.

Besides, it depends on who shows up for the fight. If it's someone like the Anti-Monitor, Parallax, Cyborg Superman, Superboy Prime, Ranx the Living City, or Sinestro himself, then yes, it is definitely a one-sided fight.

I doubt they'd lose any sinestros. Considering that A) A sinestro ring pretty much blows away potterverse magic in terms of raw power and defense, and B) The corps rank and file membership includes, among others, a snipe who can kill from halfway across the galaxy, a sentient virus, and a Predator.

Death Eaters gettin shut down with the quickness.

I will always testify that the power of the rings is without peer, but the fight wouldn't be any fun to watch if they didn't have to sweat for it, is what I'm saying. The deatheaters will draw blood for our amusement more than anything else.

I don't know, I think the realization of the death eaters that they are way, way, WAY out of their depth when their boss gets atomized from half a galaxy away would be sufficiently entertaining to cover the price of admission. Watching their subsequent reaction (IE: running around screaming, begging for mercy, soiling themselves) would be even more fun.

A fight is more fun than a massacre. Even cats play with their food before they eat it.

I dunno, could be a close call. Voldy isn't a push over, and he has a tendency to reel people in and then either backstab them, or keep them under his control via magic (ie: Imperius Curse) or so called blackmail (ie: I shall kill your family or you yourself).

I like your DE's in the background btw. It looks like they're just kinda chilling. :D

Sinestro doesn't have any friends or family Voldemort could threaten [that I know of], although I suppose if Voldemort used the Imperius Curse, it would turn the table.

Not really.

Voldemort is what we call a "big fish in a small pond". He's fairly impressive in his own world, but in a world where superheroes (and powerful ones at that) exist he drops a few notches on the threat o meter.

Take the DC universe for instance (since this is what we're talking about here with the Sinestro corps). Comparable to guys like Dr. Fate, Zatanna and Etrigan Voldemort may as well be doing card tricks.

Don't get me wrong here, Voldemort is a fairly awesome villain. But the only reason he's the top villain in his world is because he's the only major evil wizard out there (with all other ones under his flag)

In the DC universe he's strictly mid tier. Probably somebody that fights the Teen Titans. Never mind Sinestro and his all star dream team of evil badasses (Which includes two kryptonians, and a guy who more or less destroyed the multiverse a couple of years back).

It's a close call. Voldemort is a powerful dark wizard with few peers, but those rings are the most powerful weapons in the universe, and Sinestro is one of the most powerful ringslingers there is.

Sinestro would PWN Mold-Wart's sorry skinny ass. Magic is only a form of energy afterall, and I think that the energies of the rings are a bit more powerful than anything Tommy-boy could produce.

No, I agree. Death Eaters are limited to their personal knowledge of magic, whereas the 7200 aliens who make up the Sinestro Corps can do or make anything they can think of, and they're all every bit as sick as any single Death Eater. Couldn't you just see Arkillo eating Lucius Malfoy's head?
